Daily workout

So yeah, I like to think I'm pretty fit. I usually start out the day by chasing the puppy for a couple of miles. Then I'll do a couple reps of pulling myself up to a stand. Then I work out the biceps by picking up a bunch of things I'm not supposed to touch. Finally I like to finish with a couple dozen of these:

So Jeremiah continues to be super-cute and full of smiles. Here are some pictures from the last couple of months.

Peaches?!?! Blech!

So Jeremiah has started solid foods. Thus far he has tried rice, squash, green beans, and sweet peas all with no problems. Well, he wasn't crazy about the sweet peas. But then we tried peaches. The video below pretty much shows you what he thinks of them. Make sure you watch all the way to the end to get his best reaction.

He got sick for the first time afterwards and we're hopeful that it was partly due to the cocktail of vaccinations he got at his 6-month check-up, but we're going to give him some time away from peaches before trying again.

Pool Time!

At the new house, we have access to an indoor community pool. Jeremiah has gotten to take his first swims there! Well "swim" being a relative term. His first visit was with his friend JP. He also went again when Grandpa was in town. In the two short weeks between swims, he learned how much fun it is to splash! In two weeks he starts real lessons with mommy helping!

Hungry hungry giraffes

We took Jeremiah for his first visit to the Zoo when grandma "nana" was in town visiting. While there Jeremiah got to feed a giraffe. We captured a video of it! His favorite animal however was the gorilla. There was a 3-month old baby gorilla and Jeremiah had a field day watching him and his mommy.

6 Months!

Yesterday was Jeremiah's 6th month-day!

Hard to believe it's gone by so quickly although he's definitely grown a lot. Below are a few pictures we took yesterday to celebrate.
